2013 will prove to be a year of progressive and innovative growth for HEPCA, as we endeavor towards setting a new precedence for environmental protection in the Red Sea. We've come a long way from our humble inception 21 years ago as a simple mooring idea for reef conservation; on through the years of struggle and intervention for environmental protection and finally culminating into the internationally recognized NGO we are today. All of these achievements have been made possible thanks to our dedicated members and supporters. Make no mistake that we represent a powerful movement with the growing energy to bring about real change. Fighting corruption, protesting environmental destruction, advocating for social reform; HEPCA was setting these trends long before they reached Egypt's mainstream. Winds of change over the last 2 years have triggered an unstoppable momentum for the cause of environmental protection all across the world. Yet over the last 2 decades, HEPCA had already succeeded in engendering a community resonating on principles of sustainability, resource conservation, and environmental stewardship. The Rea Sea is one vast and interdependent eco-system; our own fractal unit of the singular and interconnected organism which constitutes the world's oceans and seas. Any destruction to one part of that eco-system has the potential of affecting the whole. Our oceans and seas are one magnificent eco-system in perfect resonance and there are no jurisdictional boundaries when it comes to their protection. As the year unfolds, we will be having a lot of exciting news to share with you like our pioneering research center in the south, our floating classroom the bio-boat, and our campaign for Samadai - Dolphin house. We are asking all of our members to show their support this year by subscribing to our newsletter and encouraging as many others to do so. تحية خاصة لمساندينا نحن على يقين ان العام 2013 سيكون ملىء بالانجازات و التطويرات المبتكرة لجمعيه حمايه البيئة بالبحر الاحمر "هيبكا" من خلال اتباعنا لسياسات جديده لكل ما يخص حمايه بيئه البحر الاحمر بعد مرور 21 عام على ظهور فكره متواضعه تتمثل فى نشر نظام حبال المشندورات لحمايه الشعاب المرجانية , و بعد تنفيذها مرورا بالعديد من الصراعات و التدخل لحمايه البيئه البحريه للبحر الاحمر, اخيرا اصبحنا ما نحن عليه الان بالاضافه الى كوننا جمعيه مصريه لها مكانتها على الصعيد الدولى كل انجازتنا تحققت بفضل اعضائنا و مساندينا و بلا شك "هيبكا" تمثل قوة لا يستهان بها و ذات طاقات لا تنتهى لاحداث تغييرات حقيقيه محاربه الفساد, تنظيم وقفات احتجاجيه و الدعوه الى الاصلاح المجتمعى, كلها سياسات اتبعتها "هيبكا" كخطوات اوليه للدفاع عن البيئه فى وقت كانت تلك التحركات مجرد مصطلحات فى مصر ان رياح التغيير فى العامين الماضيين اثارت قوه دافعه فى مجال حمايه البيئه فى كل انحاء العالم لا يمكن التصدى لها . و لكن بالنسبه ل"هيبكا" فعلى مدار العقدين الماضيين فقد نجحنا فى خلق مجتمع يعى تماما مبادىء الاستدامة ، الحفاظ على الموارد و الاداره البيئيه البحر الاحمر نظام بيئى ضخم و مترابط, فهو نصيب مصر من منظومه بيئيه بحريه متداخله تشكل فى النهايه محيطات و بحار العالم. لذلك فاى تدمير لآى جزء فى النظومه بالتأكيد يؤثر عليها ككل و لا حدود لحمايتها و مع توالى الايام سوف يكون لدينا الكثير من الاخبار الشيقه نتشاركها معكم و من ضمنها اول مركز لدعم البحث العلمى فىالجنوب, القارب البيئى للدراسات البحريه و حملتنا الخاصه بصمداى" بيت الدرافيل ". يمكنكم متابعه كل التطورات من خلال الروابط التاليه Website www.hepca.org Facebook page: ‘’HEPCA-Caring for the Red Sea (official)’’ Twitter: https://twitter.com/HEPCAOfficial ان جوهر خططنا للعام الحالى اساسه شبكه المعلومات و لهذا ندعو جميع مساندينا و اعضائنا بالاشتراك فى نشرتنا الاخباريه و تشجيع اخرين بالاشتراك فريق عمل هيبكا
