Cima..........the story continues
The story of Cima continues... We would like to thank Baracuda Diving centre for the update about the recent encounter with Cima, the Indopacific bottlenose dolphin with a rope tied to its flukes. Thanks to the active community of Safaga we have been following this dolphin since the end of 2010 (if you want to refresh your memory have a look the post linked here) and a brand new sighting has occurred in Cannon Reef. The good news is that despite the evident disadvantage the dolphin seems to be in good body conditions. Although we all would like to help out and try to set the dolphin free from the uncomfortable rope, we invite you not to, as for this kind of action experience and training is essential and required. If an attempt to free the dolphin is carried out improperly you may obtain the opposite result, increasing the level of stress he or she is already subjected to. Thank you for you collaboration and appreciated effort !http://redseadolphinproject.wordpress.com/2011/10/02/the-story-of-cima/
