New Garbage Bin for Abu Ghussun

The HEPCA waste management team recently delivered a new garbage bin to Abu Ghussun. This beautiful site is a very popular diving attraction with a shore based wreck. The wreck was a cargo vessel called the Hamaada, which hit the reef and sank nearly 15 year ago. Many people are visiting the site daily and our supporters at Emperor Hamata were getting concerned about the accumulation of waste there. One of the biggest environmental problems that our supporters in the south have brought to our attention is the amount of rubbish accumulation at some of our most popular bays. As part of HEPCA's intervention planning for the southern Red Sea, we've also deployed 2 flip barrel bins at the following sites: Marsa Assalai, Marsa Egla, Marsa Samadai, and Marsa El Foukery. We are asking all of our supporters to please help by reminding your guests of the importance of disposing of rubbish properly. حاوية جديدة لمنطقة ابو غصون قام فريق منظومة المخلفات الصلبة بالمنطقة الجنوبية بوضع حاوية للمخلفات بمنطقة ابو غصون ، احد المواقع الجميلة بجنوب البحر الاحمر ، تجذب العديد من ممارسى الغوص ، حيث يستقر حطام احد مراكب الشحن فى الاعماق منذ 15 عاما بعد حادثة غرقه بالمنطقة. و يتواجد العديد من الزائرين بالمنطقة يوميا مما اثار قلق فريق عمل مركز غوص امبرورو حماطة الى مشكلة تراكم المخلفات بالمنطقة و تعد تراكم المخلفات الصلبة بخلجان المنطقة الجنوبية احد المشكلات البيئية التى تواجه الجنوب ، و كجزء من عمل الجمعية فى جنوب البحر الاحمر فقد قمنا بتوفير عدد 2 حاوية فى كل من المواقع الاتية : مرسى اصالاى – مرسى عجلة – مرسى صمداى و مرسى الفقيرى ، و التى يتم تفريغها بصفة مستمرة لمنع تراكم المخلفات و نناشدكم بضرورة التأكيد على االعاملين او الزائرين بضرورة التخلص من المخلفات بطريقة سليمة
