Wadi EL Gimal memorial cleanup
Wadi El Gimal, represents an integrated land and sea ecosystem containing a wide variety of habitats. Wadi Gimal National Park covers an area of about 4,773 Km2 of land, in addition to about 2,000 Km2 of marine waters. The Wadi Gimal Island hosts the world’s largest known nesting colony of sooty falcon. The coral reefs found here are among the most spectacular in the world in terms of abundance of life and diversity of specie. Last Friday the 25th of November 2016, HEPCA have organized a clean-up in Wadi El Gimal in cooperation with Wadi Gimal Diving Center and the children of Marsa Alam, the clean-up was done among the activities of the memorial day to honor our late Managing Director Amr Ali . HEPCA would like to warmly thank all participants for their continuous support towards the protection of the Res Sea's natural resources .
